The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) has postponed its lunchtime concert “Wonders of the Wurlitzer: The Pipes are Calling,” originally set for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, due to a severe blizzard. The event will now be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at noon. This concert, the fourth annual installment, features House Organist Peter Edwin Krasinski performing on PPAC’s historic Wurlitzer organ. He will be joined by Kevin Doyle’s Roscommon Soles, which includes notable musicians such as National Heritage Fellow Kevin Doyle and All-Ireland Fiddler Sheila Falls, among others. Additional performances will come from the Kelly School of Dance and special guests like Daryl Black Eagle Jamieson and the Eastern Medicine Singers, as well as Amara Grant and Caroline Vitale. The event is free and open to the public, requiring no tickets. The Wonders of the Wurlitzer series is supported in part by PPAC Annual Fund donors. El Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) anunció la postergación del concierto “Wonders of the Wurlitzer: The Pipes are Calling”, inicialmente programado para el miércoles 25 de febrero de 2026 al mediodía, debido a la severidad de una tormenta de nieve. El evento se realizará finalmente el jueves 2 de abril de 2026 a la misma hora. Esta será la cuarta edición anual del concierto, que contará con la participación del organista residente Peter Edwin Krasinski en el Wurlitzer del PPAC, acompañado por Kevin Doyle’s Roscommon Soles, un grupo que incluye al reconocido Kevin Doyle, galardonado con el National Heritage Fellowship, junto a otros músicos destacados.
