Lillian Frances (Ranallo) Brosco of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Providence on May 30, 1931, she was the daughter of Thomas F. Ranallo Sr. and Jennie Damiani Ranallo. Lillian was the widow of Godfrey Brosco, with whom she shared a devoted marriage since 1950. She was the last surviving member of her generation, having been predeceased by numerous siblings.

Lillian and Godfrey built a loving home in Cranston, where she was known as a warm and generous matriarch, a gifted cook, and a gracious hostess who made family gatherings memorable. She enjoyed summers at Alpine Country Club as an avid golfer and was a member of the Rhode Island Women’s Golf Association. A passionate gardener, she belonged to the Meshanticut Garden Club.

Her greatest joy was her family, including her three children, Jacqueline, Rebecca, and Martha, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness. Lillian’s legacy is one of love, family devotion, and community spirit.
