Federal Hill’s popular outdoor dining event, “Al Fresco on the Hill,” is returning for the 2026 season from June 13 through September 5. Organized by the Federal Hill Commerce Association, the event expands restaurant seating onto Atwells Avenue on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight, allowing patrons to enjoy meals outdoors alongside live entertainment and artistic performances. Vehicle traffic will remain open between Bradford Street and Dean Street, where restaurants will set up parklet dining in front of their establishments. However, Atwells Avenue from Dean Street to Acorn Street will be closed to all vehicles from 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. to accommodate the event. Reservations are recommended due to the event’s popularity, and many restaurants offer valet parking. Additional parking options include on-street spaces and paid valet lots nearby. A wide variety of Federal Hill restaurants and retailers are participating, including Andino’s Italian Restaurant, Palermo’s Pizza, Terra Luna, and Wally’s Wieners, among others, providing diverse dining and shopping experiences for visitors throughout the summer.

Organizado por la Federal Hill Commerce Association, este evento permite a los restaurantes ampliar su espacio de atención al público al aire libre los sábados entre las 5 p.m. y la medianoche, instalando áreas de comedor en la calle. Durante estas horas, Atwells Avenue estará cerrada al tráfico vehicular entre Dean Street y Acorn Street, mientras que el tramo entre Bradford Street y Dean Street permanecerá abierto para vehículos, pero con parklets frente a los locales participantes. El programa incluye además tiendas, entretenimiento en vivo y presentaciones artísticas, promoviendo la actividad comercial y cultural de la zona. Se recomienda hacer reservaciones debido a la alta demanda, y varios restaurantes ofrecen servicio de valet parking.
