Antonette “Honey” (Dimente) Carbone of Warwick passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, at the age of 98. She was surrounded by her loving family at Brentwood Nursing Home. Honey was the devoted wife of the late Albert R. Carbone and the last surviving of ten siblings. Born in Providence to Alfred and Theresa Dimente, she dedicated her life to her family, raising children and creating cherished memories. After her children grew up, she served as a crossing guard for the City of Warwick, a role she enjoyed for its community connection.
Honey embraced life with enthusiasm, enjoying golfing, bowling, and social games, often sharing these moments with friends. She was especially known for hosting Sunday family dinners, where her home was always open and welcoming. Honey is survived by her daughters Linda Ault and Diane Soma, daughter-in-law Kerri Carbone, several grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. The family expressed gratitude to Brentwood Nursing Home staff for their compassionate care. Her funeral will be held on August 11, 2026, in Cranston and Warwick, with burial at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Sus domingos en la cocina, preparando comidas para su familia, eran una tradición muy valorada. Deja a sus hijas Linda Ault y Diane Soma, su nuera Kerri Carbone, varios nietos y bisnietos. Fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo y su hijo Albert J. Carbone. La familia agradece al personal del Brentwood Nursing Home por su cuidado y apoyo. Los servicios funerarios se realizarán el 11 de agosto en Cranston y Warwick, con el entierro en el Cementerio Memorial de Veteranos de Rhode Island.
