Nicholas D’Amico Jr., aged 100, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, passed away on October 19, 2026, at Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Johnston. Born in Providence to Nicholas S. and Marion D’Amico, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Following his military service, Nicholas worked for many years as general manager at Baker Auto. Later, he co-owned and operated two auto dealerships with his son, Nick, until their retirement. He was married to the late Claire B. D’Amico. Nicholas is survived by his daughter Donna Mendes and her husband Jim, brother Pasco D’Amico, grandchildren Mya D’Amico, Jason and Caroline King, Susan and Jeffrey DiMillio, great-grandchildren including Dylan King, and daughter-in-law Janice D’Amico. He was predeceased by his son Nicholas D. D’Amico and sisters Gloria Cortelosso, Eleanor Napolitano, Corrine Brown, and Baby Anne. Donations in his memory may be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center or Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

Nacido en Providence de Nicholas S. y Marion D’Amico, sirvió en el Ejército de los EE. UU. durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Tras su servicio militar, Nicholas trabajó durante muchos años como gerente general en Baker Auto. Más tarde, fue copropietario y operó dos concesionarios de autos con su hijo, Nick, hasta su jubilación. Estuvo casado con la difunta Claire B. D’Amico.
