Antonette “Honey” (Dimente) Carbone of Warwick passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, at the age of 98. She was surrounded by her loving family at Brentwood Nursing Home. Honey was the devoted wife of the late Albert R. Carbone and the last surviving of ten siblings. Born in Providence, she cherished her family above all and dedicated herself to raising her children and creating a warm, loving home. After her children grew up, she served the City of Warwick as a crossing guard, a role she enjoyed for its community connection.
Honey loved golfing, bowling, playing games at the senior center, and spending time with friends. She was especially known for hosting Sunday family dinners, where her open home and generous spirit made everyone feel welcome. Honey is survived by her daughters Linda Ault and Diane Soma, daughter-in-law Kerri Carbone, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Albert and son Albert J. Carbone. Her family expressed gratitude to Brentwood Nursing Home staff for their compassionate care. Funeral services are scheduled for August 11, 2026, in Cranston and Warwick, with burial in Exeter.
