La Escuela de Salud Pública de la Universidad Brown llevó a cabo un estudio en el que se ofrecieron exámenes gratuitos para detectar factores de riesgo y enfermedades hepáticas a pacientes de una clínica comunitaria. Durante esta iniciativa, se identificó daño hepático en 11 participantes, lo que permitió una intervención temprana en estos casos.
