Raymond G. Paradis passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born on March 15, 1938, in Lewiston, Maine, he was a devoted husband to Kathleen Paradis for 65 years and a loving father to three children. Raymond was a dedicated educator, graduating from Providence College in 1961 and teaching mathematics at several institutions, most notably Classical High School in Providence, where he also served as head of the Math Department until his retirement in 1996. He continued teaching at Bishop Feehan in Attleboro after retiring. Beyond teaching, Raymond had a lifelong passion for hockey, contributing as a coach, referee, and manager for Providence College hockey. Known for his warmth, humor, and gentle spirit, he was cherished by family, friends, and even his beloved pets. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 25, 2026, at Saint Augustine Church in Providence. The family expressed deep gratitude to the medical staff who cared for Raymond in his final days.

Nacido el 15 de marzo de 1938 en Lewiston, Maine, fue hijo de Medora y Gerard Paradis y hermano de Maurice Paradis. Estuvo casado durante 65 años con Kathleen Paradis y tuvo tres hijos: Kevin, Jennifer y Michelle, además de cinco nietos y un bisnieto.
Paradís dedicó su vida profesional a la educación, especialmente en la enseñanza de matemáticas. Se graduó en Providence College en 1961 y trabajó en varios colegios, destacándose en Classical High School de Providence, donde fue profesor y jefe del Departamento de Matemáticas hasta su retiro en 1996. Posteriormente continuó enseñando en Bishop Feehan en Attleboro.
Amante del hockey, fue entrenador, árbitro y gerente de la caja de penalizaciones en Providence College. También apoyó con entusiasmo a los equipos Red Sox, Bruins y Patriots. En su vida personal, era conocido por su humor, calidez y amor por los animales, especialmente sus perros. La familia agradece el cuidado recibido por el personal médico durante sus últimos años. Se celebrará una misa en su honor el 25 de septiembre en la iglesia Saint Augustine de Providence.
