Raymond G. Paradis passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born on March 15, 1938, in Lewiston, Maine, he was a devoted husband to Kathleen Paradis for 65 years and a loving father to three children: Kevin, Jennifer, and Michelle. Raymond was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and a great-grandfather to Nikko Paradis.
A dedicated educator, Raymond graduated from Providence College in 1961 and spent most of his career teaching mathematics at Classical High School in Providence, where he also served as head of the Math Department until his retirement in 1996. He continued teaching at Bishop Feehan in Attleboro after retirement. Beyond teaching, he was passionate about hockey, contributing as a coach, referee, and penalty box manager for Providence College hockey.
Known for his warmth, humor, and gentle spirit, Raymond was affectionately called the “dog whisperer” by family and was beloved by his grandchildren and pets. His family expressed deep gratitude to his medical caregivers for their compassionate support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 25, 2026, at Saint Augustine Church in Providence.

Educador dedicado, Raymond se graduó de Providence College en 1961 y pasó la mayor parte de su carrera enseñando matemáticas en Classical High School en Providence, donde también se desempeñó como jefe del Departamento de Matemáticas hasta su jubilación en 1996. Continuó enseñando en Bishop Feehan en Attleboro después de su jubilación. Más allá de la enseñanza, le apasionaba el hockey, contribuyendo como entrenador, árbitro y encargado de la caja de penalizaciones para el hockey de Providence College.
Conocido por su calidez, humor y espíritu amable, Raymond fue cariñosamente llamado el “susurrador de perros” por su familia y era muy querido por sus nietos y mascotas. Su familia expresó profunda gratitud a sus cuidadores médicos por su apoyo compasivo. Se celebrará una Misa de Funeral Cristiano el 25 de septiembre de 2026, en la Iglesia de San Agustín en Providence.
