PPAC Unveils The 2026/2027 Broadway Season

The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) has announced its 2026/2027 Broadway Season, featuring the national tour launch of OPERATION MINCEMEAT: A NEW MUSICAL, marking the 25th national tour to debut at the theatre. The season begins in September 2026 and includes six major productions in the Taco and The White Family Foundation Broadway Series, such as THE GREAT GATSBY, Alicia Keys’ HELL’S KITCHEN, DEATH BECOMES HER, THE NOTEBOOK, and MAYBE HAPPY ENDING. The Encore Series, starting in October 2026, offers returning favorites like THE BODYGUARD and JERSEY BOYS, alongside the holiday show ’TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE… by Cirque Du Soleil, the company’s first appearance at PPAC.
The season is supported by long-time sponsor Taco and The White Family Foundation, with media partners WPRI 12 and Cox Media. Additionally, the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra will perform their holiday concert in December 2026. PPAC continues its strong community engagement, investing over one million dollars annually in outreach programs that connect more than 40,000 people to live performances, including scholarships and educational initiatives. New PPAC President and CEO Alan J. Chille emphasized the season’s diverse and inspiring lineup, promising memorable experiences for all theatergoers.
El Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) anunció su temporada de Broadway 2026/2027, destacando el estreno nacional de la gira de OPERATION MINCEMEAT: A NEW MUSICAL, que marca la 25ª gira nacional que abre en este teatro. La temporada comenzará en septiembre de 2026 y contará con seis producciones principales en la serie Broadway patrocinada por Taco y The White Family Foundation, incluyendo títulos como THE GREAT GATSBY, Alicia Keys’ HELL’S KITCHEN, DEATH BECOMES HER, THE NOTEBOOK y MAYBE HAPPY ENDING. Además, la serie Encore, que inicia en octubre, presentará el regreso del thriller romántico THE BODYGUARD y el espectáculo navideño ’TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE… de Cirque Du Soleil, la primera vez que esta compañía se presenta en PPAC, junto con A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL y JERSEY BOYS.
El presidente y CEO de PPAC, Alan J. Chille, resaltó la diversidad y calidad de las producciones que inspirarán a los espectadores. El evento contó con la presencia de Joseph W.
