The West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA) will host Latin Grammy-winning duo MISTER G and MISSUS G at its free Concerts in the Park series on September 11 at Dexter Training Ground. Known for their bilingual, uplifting music, the duo has performed at major venues like Lollapalooza and the Smithsonian. The event, part of a summer-long series supported by local partners and funders, will also feature a farmers market, art marketplace, and beer garden.

In the North End, a new community greenspace and schoolyard habitat is being developed at the Narducci Learning Center, aiming to provide outdoor learning and recreation for students and neighbors. This project involves the City of Providence and local conservation groups. Additionally, the North End Neighborhood Association is forming for the first time to advocate for community interests, with a website and events forthcoming.

Providence artist Dark Window Tint has created a new mural titled “Theory” for the Ripples Project. Located on a public wall, the mural uses hip-hop graffiti to promote positivity through music, reflecting the artist’s journey and encouraging youth to pursue creative expression. The project is supported by the city and Mayor Brett P. Smiley’s office.
