Movies on the Block is returning this summer with four outdoor film screenings at Grant’s Block, scheduled monthly from June through September. The free event will take place at dusk on the second Thursday of each month, starting June 11. The lineup includes “The Neverending Story” on June 11, “Raising Arizona” on July 9, “Clueless” on August 13, and “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” on September 10. InDowncity is collaborating with downtown restaurants to provide curated food concessions during the movies. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or beach chairs, as seating in the park is limited. Sponsored by InDowncity, Cornish Associates, and the downtown business community, Movies on the Block offers a family-friendly way to enjoy classic films outdoors while supporting local businesses.
La serie de cine al aire libre Movies on the Block regresa este verano con cuatro funciones mensuales en Grant’s Block, desde junio hasta septiembre. Las proyecciones se realizarán al anochecer, el segundo jueves de cada mes, y contarán con la colaboración de InDowncity y restaurantes del centro para ofrecer opciones gastronómicas especialmente seleccionadas durante las películas. El calendario incluye: “The Neverending Story” el 11 de junio, “Raising Arizona” el 9 de julio, “Clueless” el 13 de agosto y “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” el 10 de septiembre.
