Movies on the Block is returning this summer with four outdoor film screenings at Grant’s Block, held once a month from June through September. The free event takes place at dusk on the second Thursday of each month, with dates set for June 11, July 9, August 13, and September 10. The movie lineup includes “The Neverending Story,” “Raising Arizona,” “Clueless,” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” InDowncity is collaborating with local downtown restaurants to provide curated food concessions during the screenings. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or beach chairs since bench seating in the park is limited. Sponsored by InDowncity, Cornish Associates, and the downtown business community, Movies on the Block offers a family-friendly, community-focused way to enjoy classic films outdoors throughout the summer.
La serie de cine al aire libre Movies on the Block regresa este verano con cuatro funciones mensuales en Grant’s Block, desde junio hasta septiembre. Las proyecciones se realizarán al caer la noche, el segundo jueves de cada mes, y contarán con la colaboración de InDowncity, que ofrecerá concesiones gastronómicas seleccionadas en restaurantes del centro.
