Providence is set for an exciting lineup of events and festivals throughout June and July 2026. Highlights in June include Disney’s “The Lion King” running through June 7 and the musical “Next to Normal” at Trinity Rep until June 28. The Roger Williams Park Zoo features “A Bug’s World” exhibit until August 9, offering immersive encounters with oversized insects. Food Truck Friday, ongoing through September 25, offers local cuisine and entertainment to kick off weekends. The RI Anime Con takes place June 6–7 at the Convention Center, while Station Park hosts the PVD Fan Zone from June 11 to July 19 with soccer watch parties and live events. WaterFire Providence holds multiple basin lightings, including a special Juneteenth and Pride partial lighting on June 18. The Rhode Island PrideFest and Illuminated Night Parade occur on June 20, followed by the Annual Juneteenth Festival on June 21. July events include the Providence Independence Day Celebration with food trucks and a full WaterFire lighting featuring the Rhode Island Philharmonic on July 4. Other notable events are concerts by Joe Jackson on July 10 and “Weird Al” Yankovic on July 14, plus the Fringe PVD festival from July 12–18 showcasing over 300 performing artists.
