Providence is set to host a vibrant lineup of events and festivals throughout 2026, offering something for everyone. In March, highlights include Lumina, an immersive light and art experience running through March 5, and Trinity Rep’s productions of “The Roommate” and Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale.” Music lovers can enjoy performances by Celtic Woman on March 4, the Broadway hit “Wicked” from March 4–22, and concerts by comedian James “Murr” Murray, Deer Tick, and Shaggy. The city also celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with its traditional parade on March 21 and hosts GFree Fest, a two-day gluten-free food festival. Food enthusiasts can indulge at the Providence Culinary Collective from March 26–29, while comedy fans have the Lil Rhody Laugh Riot festival during the same period. April continues the momentum with Trinity Rep’s Pulitzer-winning play “Primary Trust,” the RI Home Show, and the Tony Award-winning musical “The Outsiders.” Food Truck Fridays start April 17, offering local eats and entertainment through the summer. Providence se prepara para un 2026 lleno de eventos culturales y festivales destacados que prometen atraer a locales y visitantes. Durante marzo, la ciudad ofrece una variada agenda que incluye Lumina, una experiencia que combina luz, música y arte en el centro histórico, y producciones teatrales en Trinity Rep como “The Roommate” y “The Winter’s Tale” de Shakespeare. En el ámbito musical, se destacan presentaciones como Celtic Woman, Shaggy y MercyMe, además de la comedia con James “Murr” Murray y el festival Lil Rhody Laugh Riot. Entre los eventos especiales, la ciudad celebra el desfile del Día de San Patricio y el GFree Fest, un festival dedicado a productos y restaurantes sin gluten.
