Disney Theatrical Group and the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) have added a new matinee performance of Disney’s THE LION KING on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 1 p.m. This show is part of a limited three-week engagement running from May 20 to June 7, with the official opening night on May 21 at 7:30 p.m. The production will feature a total of 24 performances in Providence, including weekday evenings, weekend matinees, and evenings. Tickets for the additional June 4 matinee are currently available through the PPAC box office, by phone, and online, with special Extra Magic Packages and group sales options offered.

THE LION KING is North America’s longest-running and most-attended Broadway tour, having played over 10,000 performances in more than 90 cities and welcoming over 25 million theatergoers.
