FREE FUNK THURSDAY with The Autocrats ALCHEMY is proud to present The AUTOCRATS, New England’s premier OLD SCHOOL FUNK band. Originally formed in 2011 by trumpeter Eric ‘Benny’ Bloom (now of ‘LETTUCE’), The AUTOCRATS are a high-energy, 10 piece, horn driven, funk-dance band comprised of the area’s top professional musicians and recording artists. Drawing inspiration from 70s FUNK, SOUL and R&B, The AUTOCRATS perform songs from many different artists, including: PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC, OHIO PLAYERS, GAP BAND, EARTH, WIND & FIRE, JAMES BROWN, CAMEO, RICK JAMES, KOOL & THE GANG and many more.
