This autobiography, woven with some of our favorite poetry by the writer, chronicles Assata’s childhood, revolutionary relationships, and of course, her work as a Black Panther and later political prisoner.
Swing by the Providence Public Library or Heartleaf Bookstore for a copy. As always, Queer Bookclub is on the last Monday of the month! Drinks and snacks will be available from our menu and there is never a need to sign up! Just bring your fine self over.
