Premios Estrella del Estado Oceánico 2026
The Ocean State Star Awards is part of the Providence Performing Arts Center’s Education initiative which recognizes, honors and encourages excellence in all aspects of musical theatre performance and production among high schools in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Musicals of participating schools are reviewed by a panel of industry professionals. Based on tabulations, productions and individuals receive awards in specific categories at a ceremony that will be held each year at the Providence Performing Arts Center in the late Spring. Our panel of judges will select one male and one female Ocean State Star Awards winner to represent the state of Rhode Island in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards® competition held in New York City at the end of June.

Los Premios Estrella del Estado Oceánico son parte de la iniciativa educativa del Providence Performing Arts Center que reconoce, honra y fomenta la excelencia en todos los aspectos de la interpretación y producción de teatro musical entre las escuelas secundarias de Rhode Island y el sureste de Massachusetts. Los musicales de las escuelas participantes son evaluados por un panel de profesionales de la industria. Basándose en las tabulaciones, las producciones e individuos reciben premios en categorías específicas en una ceremonia que se llevará a cabo cada año en el Providence Performing Arts Center a finales de la primavera.
