Providence Public Library held its Annual Meeting on May 14, 2025, to announce and install its new Board officers and trustees for the 2025–2026 term. The confirmed officers are Christopher Stevens of Easton, Massachusetts, serving as Chair; Sally McDonald Willis of Cranston as Vice Chair; Juan Wilson of Providence as Secretary; and Derek Farias from North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The meeting formalized leadership roles to guide the library’s operations and strategic initiatives for the coming year. The announcement reflects the library’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and strong governance. Additional details on incoming trustees were also shared during the event. La Biblioteca Pública de Providence (PPL) celebró su reunión anual el 14 de mayo de 2025, en la que se anunciaron e instalaron los nuevos oficiales y miembros de la junta directiva para el período 2025-2026. Durante la sesión formal, se confirmó a Christopher Stevens, de Easton (Massachusetts), como presidente; a Sally McDonald Willis, de Cranston, como vicepresidenta; a Juan Wilson, de Providence, como secretario; y a Derek Farias, de North Attleboro (Massachusetts), en un cargo directivo.
