The 9th Annual FireBall Gala, themed “FireBall: Phoenix Rising,” successfully united the WaterFire Providence community in a vibrant celebration. The event raised $107,000 in net income, supporting the organization’s mission to sustain its artistic fires and foster creativity. A highlight was the generous $500,000 multi-year pledge from Philanthropic Honoree Malcolm G. Chace III and Family, which promises to elevate WaterFire’s impact for years ahead. Committee Chair Margaret Brassard, hosts Joe Wilson Jr. and Kristen Adamo, and numerous sponsors and performers contributed to making the night memorable. The gala featured a red-carpet atmosphere captured by volunteer photographers Jen Bonin and Laura Paton, with coverage forthcoming in Rhode Island Monthly. Thanks to the collective efforts of attendees and supporters through ticket sales, sponsorships, and Fund-A-Need gifts, WaterFire is poised for growth and continued community engagement. The event underscored a spirit of renewal and optimism, highlighting WaterFire’s ongoing commitment to nurturing artists and enriching the cultural fabric of Providence.
La novena edición anual de la gala FireBall, titulada “Phoenix Rising”, reunió a la comunidad para celebrar y apoyar a WaterFire Providence, una organización dedicada a promover la creatividad y el arte local. El evento logró recaudar 107,000 dólares netos mediante la venta de entradas, patrocinios y donaciones, fondos que permitirán continuar con las actividades y proyectos artísticos de WaterFire. Un reconocimiento especial fue otorgado a Malcolm G. Chace III y su familia, quienes se comprometieron con una donación plurianual de 500,000 dólares, fortaleciendo así el futuro de la organización. La gala contó con la participación de destacados anfitriones, artistas y miembros del comité organizador, liderado por Margaret Brassard.
