Leon Samuel Golden, aged 96, of Warwick, passed away on September 17, 2026, at West Shore Health Center. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Golden and son of Matthew and Ann Golden. Leon served as an officer in the U.S. Army for two years before working as an auditor for the Federal Department of Transportation in Providence and Boston. Known for his kind and gentle nature, he enjoyed spending time with family and was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He is survived by four children—Mark, Kayla, Eric, and Reba—and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Finn. A graveside service will be held on September 30, 2026, at Lincoln Park Cemetery in Warwick. Arrangements are managed by Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel.
