Downtown Providence is gearing up for a festive Halloween week with several standout events. One highlight is the Halloween Drag Brunch, traditionally hosted by Oberlin restaurant, which this year moves to Gift Horse at 272 Westminster Street on Sunday, October 26. Although Oberlin will no longer serve brunch, their popular pancakes will feature at the event. The brunch includes performances by drag queens Paris Starr, Rage Ramzee, and Ava Unit-One, with tickets priced at $50 per person. Each ticket covers one drink, one menu item, and supports Youth Pride RI and the performers. Reservations are required for the 11 and 11:30 am seatings, with the show starting at noon. Additional food and drinks will be available à la carte.

Another notable event is the Halloween Emo Night at Durk’s Bar-B-Q on Friday, October 31, starting at 9 pm. This themed party invites guests to embrace their emo side with music from bands like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Paramore. The event features themed cocktails, specials, a photography backdrop with props, and a Mario Kart Tournament, creating a nostalgic and spooky atmosphere for attendees. These events showcase the lively and diverse Halloween celebrations in downtown Providence this year.
