Raymond G. Paradis, a dedicated educator and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born in Lewiston, Maine, in 1938, Raymond devoted his life to teaching mathematics, primarily at Classical High School in Providence, where he also served as head of the Math Department until his retirement in 1996. He continued teaching at Bishop Feehan in Attleboro after retiring. Raymond was deeply committed to his students, inspiring many with his encouragement and support.
Beyond education, Raymond had a lifelong passion for hockey, contributing as a coach, referee, and penalty box manager for Providence College hockey. He was also an avid fan of the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. Known for his warmth, humor, and gentle spirit, Raymond was cherished by family, friends, and even his beloved dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathleen, their three children, five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. A Mass in his honor will be held on September 25, 2026, at Saint Augustine Church in Providence.

Nacido el 15 de marzo de 1938 en Lewiston, Maine, fue hijo de Medora y Gerard Paradis y hermano de Maurice Paradis. Estuvo casado durante 65 años con Kathleen Paradis y tuvo tres hijos: Kevin, Jennifer y Michelle, además de cinco nietos y un bisnieto.
Paradís dedicó su vida profesional a la educación, graduándose en 1961 en Providence College. Enseñó matemáticas en varias instituciones, destacándose en Classical High School de Providence, donde fue jefe del departamento hasta su retiro en 1996. Posteriormente continuó impartiendo clases en Bishop Feehan en Attleboro. Además, fue un apasionado del hockey, participando como entrenador, árbitro y gerente en Providence College, y seguidor entusiasta de equipos como los Red Sox, Bruins y Patriots.
Conocido por su sentido del humor y espíritu amable, Paradis fue cariñosamente llamado “dog whisperer” por su amor hacia los animales. La familia agradece al equipo médico que lo atendió en sus últimos días. La misa de despedida se celebrará el 25 de septiembre en la iglesia Saint Augustine de Providence.
