Practica una técnica de costura: Apliqué (Semana 2)
Appliqué is the process of stitching shapes of fabric onto a larger background fabric. It’s a handy skill for decorative projects such as patches, quilting, or embellishing a textile project. In this two-part series (August 22 and August 29), we’ll start by practicing stitching shapes using the “raw edge” method and the satin stitch. In the second session (August 29), you’ll stitch your own design to the front of a tote bag. Beginners are welcome! Sign up with Garrett at glocke@clpvd.org. For adults.
