We’re exciting to hot Moniker Brewery for a special beer drinking event.
This process is called Bierstacheln in Germany. The hot poker is flash caramelizing the unfermentable complex sugars creating a “beer brûlée” effect, making the beer smoother, sweeter, and creating a caramelized, marshmallow-like foam and malt ball flavor in the beer.
We’ll be outside, so dress appropriately, and enjoy some end of winter fun!

Este proceso se llama Bierstacheln en Alemania. El hierro caliente carameliza rápidamente los azúcares complejos no fermentables creando un efecto de “beer brûlée”, haciendo la cerveza más suave, dulce, y creando una espuma y sabor a malta caramelizada, similar a un malvavisco, en la cerveza.
